Arched Backibus Infantmus
Baby #1 very rarely suffered from the affliction known as Arched Backibus Infantmus, the phenomenon that occurs when your child wildly arches his back away from the car seat, screaming, arms flailing, as you try to get him buckled in. So, what a surprise when Baby #2 came along. Baby #2 has a case of Chronic Arched Backibus Infantmus.

That is a horrible disease inflicting some children...my almost 3 year old has now developed "Idoitus myselfitus" - most frustrating when trying to get her into the carseat when in a hurry!!!
I'm a fellow blogging chick - just perusing this morning!!!
Thing is with that disease, you never know when it will strike. And just when you think you've cured it, it shows its ugly head again.
you're funny! and i have to agree with you on the obscene look. i was wondering if it was a bizarre penis thing. should have known it was a flailing kid.
I'm sorry I called you kid a slug. It is CLEARLY a picture of a child. I see it now. lol
P.S. My son is also suffering from this affliction. what can we do?
I feel dumb. And I get it now. Whew.
LOL, if only my children were slugs, I could put a rock on top of them and...hmmmmmmm...that's right....NAP!!!
Nice picture. I can't tell if the child is vomiting, vomiting anger, crying and flailing or possibly all of the above.
The real problem? Children NEVER grow out of it. They simply stuff it until it becomes road rage.
That is soooo funny and soooo true, with my two I remember it well. The have been cured of the disease now but unfortunately now have a much worse syndrome "stroppititis" and "lippymouthitus" and so we search for yet another cure!!
Yep ,each one is different.
My baby is 3 now And, knock wood ,we're outa that phase. Now we have "alltheclothesonthefloor". The symptoms include; mismatched outfits, pulling the drawers out of the chest, and wailing ,screaming.and flailing of the arms whenever I try to correct, said mismatched outfit.
Good times.
So many afflictions! I'm going to need a medical dictionary, aren't I? All of this stuff sounds so, so scary!
